Why this exists

I started Ink & Archive after finding a print I loved for sale online, then discovering the original sitting quietly in a museum archive, free to download in beautiful resolution. That discovery opened a much bigger door. Museums, libraries, archives and public collections around the world have made extraordinary works available to everyone, but finding them isn't always easy.
